The pins connection of the 12E1 are identical to the KT88, with the exception that pin 3 on the KT88 is the Anode, whereas the Anode connection on the 12E1 is the Top cap. Two 12E1 in push-pull output 70 watts is possible. All four have brown bakelite bases and are the large brown plate type with two getter rings. All test excellent and closely matched. These are certified Matched which lived in my tube amp for about a week (maybe 10 Hours of use ). My tube amp went up for sale coz I came across on a great deal on a high end solid state amp. These were purchased on April 18 of this year from Viva tubes and has one year warranty from date of purchase . I will provide a copy of the receipt for warranty purposes. All four are the large black plate type with dual-getter rings. All test excellent and closely matched. Have tested on my AVO 163 and all four exceed the specification of a New tube. Vf=6.3v, Vg=-20.0v, Va=150v, Vs=150v, Tube1) Ip=100mA, Gm=8.0mA/V, Tube2) Ip=99mA, gm=8.2mA/V, Tube 3) Ip=94mA, Gm=8.0mA/V, Tube4) Ip=95mA, Gm=8.0mA/V.
