Vintage Wuen 8 Track Cartridge Stereo Player Untested Needs New Belt. Rare wien 8 Track. It powers on and the numbers change on the front dial when you press select. I had a look inside - see photos - and the Belt has worn out and is stuck to the wheel so would need replacing. I found belts for sale via Google quickly. I tried it with a thick elastic band and the mechanism all seemed to work but I have no amp connection for it to test for sound. I couldnt hear the tape moving but it might have been. Cosmetically not bad - see photos. A rare piece.

Cassette player recorder vintage solid state !! see Pictures Saying for parts/spares as used mains pack from my rechargeable screwdriver and unit plays a tape BUT tape wraps around right hand roller. Record engaging but same issue with tape ending up around roller. Maybe easy fix for right person !!. No other tests undertaken. ** No accessories and NO power source (needs 6 volt power source , when checking I used power source from my small electrical screwdriver not included). **** not sure if it would survive postage possible to send at your risk if breaks will pack and insure but if a problem buyer will have to process claim**** message to see if pos , recovering from intensive care so not always poss. This rarely available 1970s vintage battery powered MW/LW/VHF battery portable transistor radio was donated to our Charity in sound used cosmetic condition with various signs of previous use, wear and tear and storage (see pics for the exact condition of the item). The radio was made in Hong Kong circa the 1970s and brief inspection shows that the exterior case is in sound cosmetic condition with various minor blemishes and missing its antenna, and the metallic trim and control knobs on the front of the item are marked in various places. The installed batteries have leaked heavily during storage over the years, and the radio is therefore in non-working condition but it may be possible for a hobbyist to repair and refurbish.The radio is sold as a rare collectable display item and very interesting conversation piece in as-seen and non-working condition for collectors display, theatrical prop or spares/repair to avoid any possible misrepresentation, and we believe the above details to be accurate.
