Mit dem starken 220 V Motor und der 10 mm Tellerachse gehört er zu der ersten und höchstwertigsten Baureihe. Die wirklich absolut seltene Deckplatte ist samt der Beschriftung und des Silberstreifens noch durchgehend eloxiert und nicht wie bei den späteren Modellen einfach beklebt. Die Gehäuseform entspricht ebenfalls noch der MK I Version ohne den eingezogenen Sockel, aber das Gehäuse hat schon die besseren Scharniere. Außerdem gibt es schon eine Transportsicherung (die Sie dann unten mit den beiden Schrauben lösen müssen) und einen gesicherten kleinen Plattenteller.Technisch befindet sich der Thorens in einem ausgesprochen sehr gutem Zustand. Am Gehäuse habe ich 2-3 kleine Stellen mit einem schwarzen Permanent-Stift ausgebessert, was aber genauso wenig auffällt wie auf den Bildern. Die Haube hat mehrere verschiedene Gebrauchsspuren als sie auf den Fotos zu erkennen sind, ist aus meiner Sicht aber absolut für das Wohnzimmer tauglich. Die Scharniere sind wenig benutzt und genauso wie der ganze Plattenspieler fast beinahe als neuwertig zu bezeichnen.Ich habe den Thorens in den letzten Wochen mit meinem SME 3009 Tonarm zu meiner vollsten Zufriedenheit und mit viel Freude betrieben und kann Ihnen einen wunderschönen und sehr gut klingenden Plattenspieler versprechen.Der teilweise abgebildete Tonarm gehört nicht zum Verkauf! !!! ohne Tonarm !!! ohne Tonarm !!! ohne Tonarm !!! Thorens TD 160B MKII turntable with SME3009 Tone arm and Ortofon VMS30 cartridge in black. In good working order and really good condition. Slight scratch on the lid as pictured. The belt is in excellent condition. Perspex cover could do with a polish, as you can see from my picture, my attempt wasn’t great. Collection from Worcester I would package it if you wanted to arrange a courier but I don’t have the original packaging and protection so this isn’t my preferred option. It would be posted at your own risk. Lovey turntable with lots of life left in it, just needs a new home

Thorens TD160 B MK11 / SME 3009 series 11 improved /Ortofon VMS20E MK11. Lovely Thorens TD160 B MK11 with SME 3009 with original plinth Oak veneered in real walnut and waxed to a lovely finish Fitted with Ortofon VMS 20E MK11 which matches this arm perfectly, sounds fantastic New custom made lid fitted with rega hinges ( I think these work best as they enable the dust cover to lift off so much easier ) Thicker MDF baseboard finished in satin black with new rubber feet . (Can supply the original if preferred) Polished platter Overall this turntable is set up perfectly ,needs nothing and sounds really nice. Unfortunately I will definitely not post due to the very delicate nature of the turntable so collection only from Felixstowe, Suffolk , where you can have a listen before taking away if you wish. La versione TD160 B era venduta senza braccio per poter montare prodotti di fascia superiore, come lo SME3009. assolutamente funzionante, la cappa integra ma sono rotti i gancetti laterali (difetto tipico di questi modelli). venduto con Shell SME originale, testina A&R Cambridge P77 Come visto e piaciuto. Possibile ascolto presso la mia abitazione.
