I bought this new in 1975 from Berkshire HiFi near Reading. I went there with the intention of buying the new Linn LP12 but they had sold out ! Luckily for me.The Technics was 3 times the price of an LP12 system, so I was dubious until they told me that Robin Ray had bought an identical Technics setup the week before, so... Years later I added the Fluid Damper and re-wired the tonearm.
