Does not include original hinges. Has some small metal “shims” (not hinges) (pictured) that previous owner installed with glue and screws to try to make the cover be able to be manually placed in a standing up position in the turntable base hinge holder. I can’t make it stand up, perhaps you could by adjusting it or by replacing with original hinges (which as stated are not included), or just manually place dust cover in place to cover turntable and remove it to operate turntable. One of the shims is fairly solidly fastened, one is split and rotates around. I’m selling at a loss to pass this on so maybe someone else can get use out of it. Cosmetically, there is one crack in the back of the dust cover near the hinge (view auction picture #11.) It has no effect on operation and the dust cover works along with the hold-up hinges. Authentic, original non-working Polk Audio SL-2000 Silver Dome Tweeter for Polk monitor speaker series. The tweeter stopped working after I used a vacuum cleaner to suck the crinkle from the plastic dust cap. The flap of the dust cap flipped off partially and after putting it back in place, I realized it had stopped working. I am unsure what damage was done but the voice coil was not sucked out during the process. I am selling strictly for anyone who can fix these tweeters because they are among the best sounding tweeters on the market.

Pair of tweeters from Polk speakers, model SL2000. A few wrinkles in the domes, but these sound good when played with music or test tones through my crossover. On one the edge of the diaphragm was pulling away from the plate in a couple places, so I ran a tiny bead of Momentive 162 electronics grade clear RTV around the edge to keep things attached and aligned before anything happened. This does not extend onto the surround roll and does not affect the sound in any way that I could tell, and since it is clear, unless you compare directly to another one, you would probably not notice. I know how to pack things like this to avoid damage to the delicate domes, see the nylon standoffs and screws in the last picture. Please look at all the pictures and ask any questions before bidding.
