SHURE M92E HI-FI STEREO CARTRIDGE MM T4P RARE! Vintage Original Stylus VGC. Here’s an original used Shure M92E T4P moving-magnet stereo cartridge in good condition. It’s supplied with the original stylus which is still in good condition. These Shure cartridges are now very hard to find and rival the Technics P23 / P24 / P30 and the Ortofon OMP cartridges for high-quality T4P-compatible cartridges to fit the classic 1980s Technics SL linear-tracking range and their competitors.I’ve used this sparingly in recent years on my classic Technics SL-7 linear-tracking turntable with great results - and also fitted it to an Ortofon headshell adapter for a standard headshell, on my Pioneer PLX-500W and Audio-Technica AT-LP1240 turntables. Obviously, though its working fine at present, as a vintage item several years old there is no guarantee of longevity and no return or warranty applies to this auction.It’s a highly-rated cartridge with a full sound that has performed well on either a linear-tracking T4P arm or on a ‘conventional’ turntable as described. I have several Technics P24/P30 cartridges and other Ortofon T4P ones, so I decided to sell this Shure as a spare. You can buy a replacement stylus for under £20 - though the original one appears to have a decent amount of life left in it. Back in the day this was the Rolls Royce stylus for 78s. I used to own a V15 cartridge and bought this as a replacement. Thought I had sold it with the turntable and V15 but lo and behold I found this with a massive collection of classic Pfanstiehl replacement needles I bought 20 years ago in a record deal. We will be selling those soon. This is not one of the generic replacements. The box has the original price sticker from when I bought it. SHURE M92E HI-FI STEREO CARTRIDGE MM T4P RARE! Vintage Original Stylus VGC. Here’s an original used Shure M92E T4P moving-magnet stereo cartridge in good condition. It’s supplied with the original stylus which is still in good condition. These Shure cartridges are now very hard to find and rival the Technics P23 / P24 / P30 and the Ortofon OMP cartridges for high-quality T4P-compatible cartridges to fit the classic 1980s Technics SL linear-tracking range and their competitors.I’ve used this sparingly in recent years on my classic Technics SL-7 linear-tracking turntable with great results - and also fitted it to an Ortofon headshell adapter for a standard headshell, on my Pioneer PLX-500W and Audio-Technica AT-LP1240 turntables. Obviously, though its working fine at present, as a vintage item several years old there is no guarantee of longevity and no return or warranty applies to this auction.It’s a highly-rated cartridge with a full sound that has performed well on either a linear-tracking T4P arm or on a ‘conventional’ turntable as described.
