The Nakamichi Nakamichi TD -1200 II is the ultimate cassette deck equipped with NAAC (Nakamichi Auto Azimuth Correction) for automatic playhead azimuth adjustment similar to the famous Nakamichi DRAGON. The power supply is a Stanley selenium power supply, the amplifier is a remodeled Lux SQ 507 x, and the speakers are German Gretz excitation and Alnico speakers for listening. I also own a Nakamichi 700 ZXE, and the TD -1200 II sounded just as good. (This is my feeling) After all, the selenium power supply seems to be good.
