This works perfectly and is my extra remote ( I used to have a NAD 7600 and still have a NAD 1700 on my current system). I am downsizing and letting some things go. This works with my 1700 and previously w/ a 1600 I had as well as a 7100 I previously had so if you own any of these this will do what you want it to do. Please study the pics for condition. This is a very clean Nad 7100 receiver that sounds great when it works. The issue is with the power button. I have had this unit for about a year and used in my ebay storage/shop. I buy a good bit of vintage stereo equipment and will pick one to use as my system for a while until I find another one that I want to try out. I will then sell the one that I have been using. This one was working fine with great sound, I unhooked it and hooked up a different one. When I went to verify it worked before I listed it( as I always do), the power will not come on. The light on the front comes on showing it is getting power but the unit does not go from standby to on when the power button is pushed. When I first got this unit, it did the same thing. it starting working correctly after the power button wiggled a little and I had no more issues until now. I am selling this as is for parts/ repairs due to this issue. This item is not returnable. I am pricing this at a very low price for this brand/item. This item will be sold to US buyers only.
