Up for sale are all the reference top of the line Meridian hometheater equipment which includes the 861 v8, 800 v4 and the UHD 722 plus the original remote control in excellent condition except few small hairline scratches and rough edges on the custom installed plexiglass casing on 861 and the 800 (please see the pictures). The uhd722 is in perfect condition and comes with the cables as shown in my pictures. The retail original price were : 861v8- $25000 ; 800v4- $20000 and UHD722- $3000. The 861v8 comes with the 2 optional cards (analog balance output cards) OA18. This is an amazing hometheater system that you can purchase at the fraction of the original cost!The 861 & 800 originally were the rack version without casing and I made the piano black plexiglass casing for them which has been screwed on them with 4 screws on each and can be removed if you prefer to rack mount them and they are included free with the sale. Also, included the original remote control for 861v8 and the cables as can be seen on the pictures with this sale.All the units work %100 flawlessly with no issues. Meridian Boothroyd Stuart 561The cosmetics are excellent as are apparent in the photos. The Meridian 561 was made in England, a high end audio component. It is extremely well built and made to last. Purchase price when introduced was $5,000. It has had light use, it was used as a second system. Included is the Meridian remote also in excellent condition and is fully functional ( a 9 Volt battery is in place ). A users manual and power cord is also provided. I also included a trigger cable for turning on power amp or other device. The original box and packing is included and will provide safe shipping to you.The Meridian 561 is a Digital Surround Controller which combines a completely digital surround-sound processor with a high-performance digital preamplifier. You will need a power amp to complete the system. I used the Meridian 561 with an Anthem A2 two channel power amp with Onix Reference 3 speakers. The result was an impressive sound combination. I only used the analog & digital audio portion of the this controller as a preamp. The on-screen display automatically locks to an NTSC, PAL, or SECAM signal, and requires an input signal to operate. You must use an analog TV to use the display feature. I used the display on the unit front panel to set up the inputs for digital and analog. Meridian C61R Digital Surround Great quality Meridian controller. No longer required. Recently had power supply unit replaced by audio images in Sheffield. (Fairly common problem with older Meridian units). This unit will be good now for the next 20 years. Also note the G 55 power amp also for sale.

Meridian IE16 Digital Input Card for Meridian 861. This is NOT a stand-alone Card. It still requires the main IE42 already fitted in the 861 backplane (this furnishes all of the initial processing, so the IE16 feeds into the IE42). So if like me, you can connect a plethora of additional Digital Inputs to your 861. Used in a Meridian 861v4 - I dont know which other variants of 861 this will work in, so please do your research. It has performed 100% for me, it works, but it will require setting up via the Meridian set-up program with a serial connection from your PC connected to the RS232 interface in the back of your 861. Its not rocket science, but will require a degree of understanding and competence! Im only selling because of a processor upgrade which has the full suite of readily available inputs.
