McIntosh MC7106, 6 Channel Solid State Amp w/LED VU Meters, Lucasfilm THX Rated. I have decided to part with my McIntosh MC7106 Amp. My McIntosh preamp died so I bought another all-in-one AVR. I cannot afford another McIntosh as I am now retired. So, selling the Amp. The unit works great, the only issue is a small mark in the glass I highlighted with my finger in the pictures. Very small and I did not even notice it until I took it out of the stereo cabinet. I just tested the amp with my new AVR and all channels work. The amp was also sent to legendary Terry Dewick a few years back to replace the lights and test the unit. The channels can also be bridged (which is the way I was using it for years). I have the McIntosh factory box to ship it in. I will only ship to the 48 contiguous States and like to use Fedex. Shipping cost will be determined by the buyers shipping address and paid by the buyer. It is a great amp, but I am downsizing so to speak. Mcintosh-MC7106-This is an amp with cosmetic issues but sounds wonderful-basically for someone that just wants to enjoy the sound. All amp channels work beautifully-bias is adjusted to factory specs in every channel.and DC offset also meets factory specs. The front face is not factory but is custom made-the lamps/meters were non working and bulbs were damaged so I removed bulbs and made the custom face instead of repairing since I dont like meters when trying to watch a movie. The front left side panel was damaged previously with the factory screw holes gone. I filled with JB weld and put screws in there. They are not perfect but do the job of holding the panel on. Would just open the right side to access plexiglass if you ever want to replace bulbs and fix front panel. The custom front panel is made from Lexan painted on the underside and has a plastic light difuser that is taped in so it can be removed if you want to change power light tint. The front face metal has some damage and scratches.-see pics.The rear of unit had some kind of shipping damage and has dent. I tried to picture in last pic but it didnt show up well. i will take more pics when I get time. Will be well packed and ship insured.UPDATE:Just uploaded pics showing better the damage on rear as well as pics of bottom and inside..
