Lasonic TRC-931 boombox - holy grail find, superb condition! In truly remarkable condition for its age, I doubt you’ll see another example as clean as this! Cosmetically there are slight signs of its age and I would rate it at 8/10. I’ve included high resolution images from all angles taken outdoors in natural light so please review these carefully with respect to overall condition. I don’t know a great deal about these but it all appears to be working perfectly. I have powered it up and tested the cassette playback, radio and phono inputs, all of which are working fine with great strong sound through the clean speakers. If there are any other specific aspects of functionality (there are a lot of buttons on here!!) that you’d like me to test before you buy then please just ask - otherwise sold as seen. All appears original bar possibly the power lead - there is some (about 3”) heat shrink on there which doesn’t appear stock and the plug itself looks to be a later addition. Postage costs are high as this will need to be sent in an oversize box to ensure adequate protection and I have also factored in the very high costs of courier insurance. Welcome to my listing for my Lasonic i931-BT boombox. This is a limited edition version of the i931 as the original colours where black, white with chrome and white. It has a full graphic equaliser, it has a nice rich sound, and goes quite loud. It has an SD card slot as well as bluetooth, USB and MMC ports, the SD card slot is temperamental and will take a few times of removing and reinserting for it to work but once its recognised it will be fine if you want to leave the SD card in there, alternatively you can use the USB connection or better still connect it to your phone via bluetooth. The Boombox itself is in very good condition but it is only running in mono but it doesnt affect the operation at all. This is a very reluctant sale as its a good honest tidy machine and as far as I can see, this is the only model as the time of listing that has the graphic equaliser on eBay. The outer surface of the body has no cracks at all, it has only a very minimal wear as shown on photos. The antenna is nice straight, maybe not original. It has all buttons and knobs and they work without any crackling. The indicator LEDs work, the radio receives channels on all bands. Cassette functions including playback, REW, FF and counter tested and work properly (as demonstrated on video), but the number 2 tape makes no sound (the head works and LEDs indicating sign but no sound). The AC connector and the connector of the right speaker are not original. The battery cover is missing. The device has no other known faults than the described.
