Selling this power supply from a working KAV 250a Amplifier was damaged in a move .. Please note the switch / power turn on button was damaged beyond repair. The board is included. However, it will need to be repaired. Another switch will need to be fastened or some other means of connection will be needed to be made. This is a DIY type project. Chassis was damaged beyond user repair I’m selling the parts this is the power supply. I also have the transformer. I’m selling the transformer separately please look at my items for sale I have all of the hardware fasteners. I have two of the Amp modules however, they are needing transistor repair and probably a few other things to make them work. This particular sale is for the power supply only …. this is a part item. If you are looking for one of these little monsters, this is the one you want. It was sent to Krell in June of 23, and has had all capacitors replaced. It has been cleaned, tested and verified as meeting original specifications. There was a recall on some of these for a potential overheating problem. That recall has also been done. This unit is as close as you can come to new. Beautiful cosmetic condition and now ready for another 12 to 15 years of trouble-free service. Don’t be fooled by the others listed. Their capacitors are long past designed service life, and need to be replaced. I have done the upgrades and paid the freight. This amp has plenty of power, and is very detailed. You will not be disappointed with this one. This amp is adult owned and has been meticulously maintained. There is a small mark on the case from shipping, but otherwise, is pristine. Sorry, the original owner did not retain the original packing material when I purchased it. This is a very powerful amplifier, rated @ 250 watts/channel into 8 ohms; 500 watts/channel into 4 ohms in stereo mode, and 1000 watts into 8 ohms bridged mono mode. It is a dual mono design, fully complimentary and balanced from input to output. The input/driver stage is class A. The output stage is class AB using proprietary output devices created by Motorola exclusively for Krell.
