The Hafler DH-101 Stereo Preamplifier was made in USA, circa 1980. This unit has been fully tested, all functions in working order with the exception of Outout PHONO 2, which is NOT WORKING.Metal cabinet has some minor scuffs as is normal wear. This is a very nice David Hafler DH-101 Preamplifier that has been recently serviced/upgraded. Electrolytic capacitors have been replaced with new mostly Nichicon versions, voltage regulators replaced, and tone potentiometers replaced. Included with the unit is the original paperwork, including assembly instructions/service manual, the large pictorial diagram, and the original parts that were recently replaced. It is coming out of an in-use environment so everything is verified to be working. All in all, one of the simplest and cleanest preamps ever made. A cool piece of audiophile history! Hafler 101 preamp in working condition. Tested the Aux, Tape 1 and 2 outputs with a phone. Tested phono 1 and 2 with a turntable. All test produced sound on both channels. Knobs would benifit from cleaning and deoxit. Comes with PC-4 capacitor kit (see photos).
