First the issue: SSB mode power is reduced. With the Mic compressor on I can get peaks above 50 watts PEP, but without the compressor output is lower. It has full output on CW mode so I would guess the issue is in the mic amp. This is the only issue I have been able to find but I have only used it a short while this time around (see below) and there may be other issues I am not aware of. (The soldering iron has melted a little when I modified it, but there seems to be no problem in using it.) I measured it with a hand-held power meter and it is producing 50W on all bands on FM. I had the modulation checked locally and there seems to be nothing wrong.
