Edifier R1700BT Bluetooth Bookshelf Active Speakers Version 4.0 with Upgraded 53” MOLEX cord. These speakers are in excellent shape with some very minor wear to grilles and cabinets. No ugly scratches or dents. Grilles fit snug in the speaker as designed. See last two photos to see minor cosmetic details. Overall, these are in 9/10 shape, maybe 9.5/10. I replaced the original left/right speaker cord with a high-end audiophile MOLEX connector. It is 53” in length, so if you are looking to spread these monitors wider, you will need to order a 5m or 9m cord direct from Edifier. However, for use with a computer or on a bookshelf, the 53” works just fine, especially using a streaming service. My friend had a pair of these paired with an Audio-Technica Bluetooth turntable and they sounded wonderful. Very cool to see them working with no speaker wires or even an amp, as the speakers have a built-in amp inside (active speakers). I always wanted to do that, but oh well… There is no remote, sorry, but if you use these as an audiophile alternative to a standard Bluetooth speaker like I did, you will not miss the remote. Using Spotify, simply control the volume with your smartphone. I never used the remote when I had it and then misplaced it when moving.
