Were hoping it finds its way to someone that appreciates it here in the U.S. but we are willing to ship out of the country as well. Wow! So this is what musical heaven is like! The Counterpoint SA11 is not only the most beautiful sounding line section extant, but is also the most accurate and the most musically truthful - Peter Moncrieff, International Audio Review Cosmetic condition:The face plate and all lettering is in near perfect condition. As shown in the photos, only very light scuffs on the top surface that can probably lightly cleaned to near new condition. All knobs are straight and rotate smoothly. All toggle switches click evenly and solidly into place. Under 4X magnification the RCA connections on the back show no scratching or wear. Side panels are clean and near new condition. Rear is pristine with none of the inputs or outputs showing any signs of being bumped or bent. We cannot find any significant wear, grime or marks to the outside. Overall we can honestly rate it a solid 9+ out of 10. Functionality:If you are considering this control amplifier you know of its famed capabilities. Our testing has been limited to powering it up. We are not qualified to go through the many tests it deserves and like any very fine piece of art or equipment we are not going to take a chance of damaging something that doesnt have any issues to begin (which is our guess here), all appears to be working without issues. When powered on it took about 15 seconds for it to become ready and ALL of the lights came on. With that said if you have ANY concerns we are willing to take this SA-11 to your choice of a Dallas area professional and (at your expense) have them review this SA-11 before you buy it. We are confident it will test fine but need some basic adjustments. In our professional opinion this SA-11 has seen very low use. The unit works but requires new phono sockets on the back of the MM connection, I found that the loud humming was due to my electrical sockets upstairs, which are on a different circuit, there is still a low hum, but this could be due to several reasons , bad interconnects and my neighbour I am sure has something plugged in to stop me enjoying the music, I am sure it is easily fixed or may not even be there as it comes and goes. the sound quality is superb, even though its a bit industrial looking, the mono switch also help a lot especially when playing mono records, the mute switch is also very useful. The SA 3000 is now getting scarce and becoming a collectors item, due to its superb sound quality, they now sell for between £1100 to £1300 and either from Europe or USA which means shipping and taxes, this represents good value, as I have discounted it for the work required to fix it, as well as the included rare and highly expensive valves. Up for auction is this Counterpoint SA-12 Dual Channel Tube/Mosfet Power Amplifier. This is a never finished project, previous owner had purchased a new transformer but never put it in. Counterpoint SA-12 Dual Channel Tube/Mosfet Power Amp. I acquired this about 5 years ago and had intentions of using in a hifi system but it just didnt happen. I played it for a week in my shop, sounded great. The front plate has two small scratches in the upper left corner, they are really hard to see. I took some pics of the inside as well.
