These are very heavy.The pair sold new for $1,500 in 2003.The top of one speaker has a few scratches as shown in pictures and there are a couple small dings on the bottom of the speakers which I tried to take pictures of. It was brought to my attention that one of the tweeters had a dent in it as shown in one of the pictures. I had my brother come over who is familiar with speakers. He took the speaker apart and was able to get the dimple out, but it is not smooth. He checked the sound out with a receiver and they still work very well. The wires on the tweeter have not been broken, so the dome is basically for aesthetics. It appears you can buy a replacement on ebay if you want to for looks. Hi and welcome to my listing for these very nice looking B&W CM4 speakers in cherry wood. Physically both speakers are in very good condition, with minor marking to their cabinetry, and moderate staining to their top sufaces(see photos) Both speakers have benefited from having all bass driver surrounds, proffionally refurbishment. The originals had hardened with age,typical of B&W drivers of this era. Both speakers now sound as good as new. These speakers were quite expensive when new, if I remember 800 around 1995,as such they protray a very fast and delivery, with quite substantial amounts of bass from thir tandem 6.5inch bass drivers. Unfortunately due to weight these speakers are collection only from Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. Appologies for my zero feedback, as I have had a joint ebay account with my brother for the last 10 years, with some 2500+ positive feedback, he has now moved away and as such I have had to start my own account.
