Please make sure it is the black tweeter that is required for your speaker.

Bowers And Wilkins B&W DM601 S2 Bookshelf Speakers. In good used condition, grilles are a bit loose fitting and there are some screw holes on the cabinet rears where wall-mounts must have been fitted at one time. One speaker has a brand new B&W original tweeter diaphragm direct from the manufacturer (this is a plug in replacement, no soldering), so all drivers are in perfect condition. The cabinets have some minor scratches in line with their age. No original box, however speakers will be well packed in styrofoam and triple-wall cardboard for couriering, most likely via UPS given the weight.

Tested, working, in excellent condition. Grills included. Missing one of the gold plated posts on the back of one of the speakers. Please look at all pictures for more details.

The woofers work fine but their rubber surrounds are cracked and hard as plastic so they can’t breathe freely on high volumes. They seem to play fine on low volume. The cabinets are nearly pristine with only some insignificant imperfections to the bottoms. Please inspect the photos. One grille has a crack but not visible and doesn’t affect the use. Some holes in fabrics here and there. Long story short they need some work to be done on them to be used in proper way. Please ask if you want to see anything in details. The tweeters are dented, however they tweet absolutely fine. The woofers have their centre caps cracked as shown on the last photos, so one of them makes some noise when the woofer is playing. The best way is to remove the decorative centre cap and it will eliminate the noise. Otherwise please consider replacing the cap. They are only decorative so they don’t affect the sound of the speaker in any way if removed. Otherwise the woofers are fully working. Generally the speakers are in good cosmetic condition woth some insignificant marks/scratches only. Please inspect the photos and ask if you want to see anything in details. Selling by B&W DM601s that I have owned from new for approximately 25 years. They still work and sound great but have taken some knocks over the years and show several signs of wear that I have tried to capture in the pictures Also note that two of the connections on the back (on the right hand speaker in the photo of the connectors) had got damaged at some point so banana plugs cant be attached to those directly but wires can still be attached. I dont have the plates to connect the terminals together and normally just use the speaker wire to do this if running with single wire (not bi-wired) setup. Collection is preferred but can also post if required. Please let me know if you have any questions.
