RME ADI-2 stereo dac. This is the second version with the AKM 4493 dac chip. After the AKM fire that destroyed the factory, they went with a ESS chip, but the board was never made for it. Basically a half ass fix and this is the dac you don’t want. At least my opinion. These things really do sound amazing and the only reason I’m letting it go as I’m going to go with a high-end streamer. The unit is used so it has a couple scuffs on it or what not but it does come with the factory box, remote, and power supply manual. And now for the fine print…….USA BIDS ONLY! I don’t ship overseas. This is an excellent RME ADI-2 DAC fs. It sounds excellent. This is the latest C version with the ESS converters. Ive had both the AKM and ESS versions, the ESS has more punch in the low end to my ears but the differences are subtle for sure. This has a lot of cool features where you can change the filtering options or apply an eq to the overall sound. Comes with everything pictured in the images. No major scuffs or marks to note, see the images. Signature required.
