2 x B&W Bowers & Wilkins Matrix 801 Series 3 Generic Replacement Tweeter Loudspeakers Coils Foils.Always fit in pairs, that way they will look exactly the same & they will also sound exactly the same.You are buying a pair of generic replacement tweeter coils & foils (as seen on these pictures) to fit the bowers & wilkins matrix 800 series loudspeakers.They are a very good replacement for your old blown or dented tweeters.Dependant on when exactly your tweeters were made, these will either slot straight into place or you will find they are about 1.5mm wider that the slot for them.If they are slightly wider, then all you need to do is to put a very thin edge of superglue around the edge of your plastic tweeter surround (use the tip of a cotton bud) & then place the tweeter coil - foil in place using the magnet part of your complete unit to line it up while the glue sets.BEFORE you first open the tweeter up make sure that you mark the position of both parts of the tweeter, they slot together in a certain place & marking them before opening them will save you loads of time & agro later on.You will need the following tools to fit these.A philips screwdriver (small - medium head)A flathead screwdriver (small - medium head)A soldering iron & solder.Some superglug & a cotton bud.These replacement tweeter coils & foils can be used with many bowers & wilkins loudspeakers.You will need a steady hand, a fair degree of common sence (like do not glue into place until you have made sure it fits together correctly) & a few minutes spare time when fitting these.REMEMBER, THEY ARE VERY DELICATE, NO RETURNS ON ANY COILS - FOILS THAT YOU DAMAGE WHILST FITTING THEM.RETURNS ON BRAND NEW NOT FITTED COILS - FOILS ONLY.If you are not still not sure about fitting these, in the first instance have a look on youtube, you will be able to find videos on there showing what to do.If you still have issues, then send an email through ebay messaging to us, we will attempt to get back to you within 24hrs (we are NOT sat on the computer 24/7)FREE UK SHIPPING ON THIS ITEM.All items are sent by signed for & recorded delivery.

B&W dm16,matched pair in full working order and sound fantastic-these was top of bw dm range before the matrix 801-very rarely come up for sale,all drive untis fully working and complete with stands and grills.very minor age related marks and small chip in rear left hand corner (see pic)full demo on pick up,no post as way to heavy.cash on collection only.I have another pair in black ash that im going to restore so decided to sell this pair as these are much better condition.pick up/cash only.

Legendary Bowers & Wilkins Matrix 801 Series 2 in nice shape. They have been well taken care of and are all original. All components work as they should, and they sound wonderful!They have sequential serial numbers and you can tell as the wood grain and color is very similar on both cabinets.There are a few scratches about 1 inch on both speakers on the back corners and one 1inch tear on upper cloth and a ¼ hole on the other upper cloth (pictured). Otherwise,the finish is nice, uniform, and shiny and all drivers have no damages or deformities.Here is your chance to own a pair of these highly acclaimed speakers which were used in many famous recording studios and led to the world renown B&W 801 Nautilus and Diamond series. Iprefer local pickup at my home in Summerlin Las Vegas zip 89128 but would be open to having them shipped at your doing and cost. I will not crate or package them either, that will be upon your shipper.
