Up for auction today is a N.E.W. 20 watt x2 class A amp. This amp is extremely rare and sounds amazing. This was designed by Nelson Pass of Pass Labs and built by Ted Bennett of Threshold in Los Angeles CA. The amp was recapped two years ago and is working perfectly. My Uncle was the original owner and he had a pair of these running mono to a set of Klipschhorns for about 30 years. My Uncle is getting to old and doesnt hears as good as he used to so he asked if I could sell some of his system. He will not let go of the other amp. He paid $5000 for the pair of amps back in 2000. This is an amazing peace of audio history, design, and listening pleasure. You will never see another one of these amps up for sale again so get it while you can. This amp is sold as is no warranty or returns. The amp has been fully tested and is in perfect working condition. Amp comes from a smoke and pet free home. Free shipping is to the lower 48 only. This is as near as you will ever come to a flawless unit. This is the rare Optical Bias unit. The Analysis Pro Power Oval is 4 long.I had the unit serviced around 4-5 years ago. I have never had an issue with the amp! This is priced well below current values and will sell quickly! Please dont buy this amp if it is not exactly what you have been looking for! Audiophiles will understand why I ask this.The shipping will be based on the actual cost to ship this to your zip code. It wont be cheap as it weighs 60 lbs. It will be double boxed with plenty of foam padding. I will remove the bottom and rear feet from the unit. (Of course they will be included.) I do this to minimize the chance of shipping damage. THRESHOLD T2 Preamplifier Owners Handbook Manual ! RARE !! This is a owners handbook/manual from a rare high-end preamplifier. The Threshold equipment was pretty outrageous.Most of us only dreamed of owning one of their products. Wish I had the preamp to go with this manual! There is also a warranty card/info included in this auction. Note that it says 10 year limited warranty ...dont see that much anymore. And as a extra bonus; ..also included is a Warning Important T2 Operating Instructions page thats not pictured. Very cool! This manual is in very nice shape with just light wear here and there. Doesnt seem to have been read.
