Vintage Optimus Pro LX5 Radio Shack Bookshelf Speakers. Estate Sale find. They were hooked up and worked when the seller demonstrated them to me. I an NOT an audiophile and I do not know the nuances of vintage electronics. So I do not know anything beyond a radio station was played through them. I have not removed the covers and I do not know what is there. They are priced accordingly. Cosmetically a little dusty but decent. Some nicks and scratches and smudges but not too bad. Optimus Pro LX5 Speaker OEM Woofer With New Quality Rubber Surround. These woofers are from perfectly working LX5 speakers. They were sold separately because the tweeter were sold first.

Please read carefully due to previous bidders wasting time and not completing: The unit has a non-standard power source. It needs collecting from Chester area. When you bid you are meant to buy, not try to re-negotiate after winning. Sony PS-LX5 Direct Drive fully automatic stereo turntable system, includes stylus. In good condition, rare model, not used for many years but worked the last time it was tried and has been carefully stored away since. We no longer have a hifi system to use it or test it with. The hinges are still ok, and the lid is not cracked, but has light surface scratches. We bought a new cartridge for it and did not use it much after that. The power supply is a small specialised 3-pin plug, as seen in 8th photo. It is actually powered up, we believe, only by plugging into a Sony amplifier. You would have to have the compatible amplifier, or be prepared to modify it to a mains plug, at your own risk of it not being possible. This is a relatively heavy and breakable item, which I would not want to send through the post, therefore local collection from Chester area, by arrangement. May be able to deliver to Sandbach area, or between Chester and Sandbach, for a contribution towards fuel costs. Or collection from my workplace during the week, in Bretton, Flintshire. I would be prepared to send it by courier if you organise this yourself after winning the item, as it would then be at your own risk if it arrived damaged. Please have a look at my many other interesting items as I have cleared out three houses in the last few years, former family homes.
