Offered is a OEM Klipsch KG4 K-8-K Woofer/Speaker removed from a working KG4 speaker. Condition is used. Removed from a working KG4, this K8K woofer/speaker is in very good shape. Surround is nice and soft, there are no cracks or tears. The cone is slightly discolored and this can be seen in the images. Looks like the cone was pushed in. It is not torn, I know it can be done but no attempt was made to pull it out. Provided are multiple close up images, it can also be seen in the other images. If you need a more detailed image or super close up just let me know and I will accommodate as best as I can. There is also a spot where it looks like something mashed on the cone, its a small white mark, it is not through the cone. Provided are two images, one from the front and one from the back. Speaker still played great as can be seen in the video. In the video this would be the bottom woofer on the right speaker. It has the K-8-K KLIPSCH stamp and 8643 on the back - I believe this is the date stamp indicating 1986 production. There was a Kilpsch QA sticker in the cabinet with 1986 as the manufacture date. I have owned a lot of Klipsch speakrrs through the years but I dont recall owning any that sounded better than these KG 4.2s. Many have been a bit to bright on the high end for me but these are just right .The crossover frequencies match up extremely well with the drivers.
