Allerdings funktioniert das Zählwerk nicht mehr, da der Zählwerkriemen entfernt wurde, obwohl es immer noch installiert ist. Die Record-Funktion ist etwas knifflig, da man den Rew-Knopf nach oben drücken und dabei Rec + Play nach unten drücken muss, um die Aufnahme zu starten. Außerdem ist der Rec-Knopf wie auf den Bildern zu sehen gebrochen und mit einer Schraube und Knetradiergummi kosmetisch angebracht. Um die Asimuth-Schraube zu erreichen, wurde ein Loch in die Front gebohrt, damit diese nicht jedes Mal ausgebaut werden muss. Der Asimuth sollte regelmäßig bei jedem Kassettenplayer geprüft und nachjustiert werden, um hohe Frequenzen hören zu können. Die Autostop-Funktion ist nicht mehr aktiv, aber es besteht keine Gefahr für das Band, da die ausgeübte Kraft zu gering ist, um es zu beschädigen. Der Motor läuft einfach weiter und die Mechanik ist so gebaut, dass es unbedenklich ist. Besonders hervorzuheben sind der orange Power-Knopf und die präzisen, großen VU-Meter, die dem Kassettenrekorder ein geniales Aussehen verleihen. Alles in allem halte ich die Yamaka K-Serie für sehr gut. The record function is a bit tricky, as you need to push the Rew button up and simultaneously push Rec + Play down to start recording. Additionally, as seen in the pictures, the Rec button is broken and cosmetically attached with a screw and eraser putty. The autostop function is not active, but there is no danger to the tape as the applied force is too low to damage it. The motor simply continues to run, and the mechanics are designed in such a way that it is safe. A hole was drilled in the front to easily access the azimuth screw. Otherwise, the front has to be removed for this purpose. The azimuth should be checked and readjusted regularly on every cassette player to hear high frequencies. Of particular note are the orange power button and precise, large VU meters, which give the cassette recorder a fantastic appearance. Overall, I believe the Yamaka K-Series is very good, and the K-350 is easy to repair due to its simple yet high-quality design. Compared to other cassette recorders with more complex systems, it causes fewer headaches.
