A pair of JBL LE20-1 tweeters in excellent cosmetic and fully working condition, taken from a pair of Lancer 77s but of a design widely used in JBL speakers of the late 60s-70s. The decor plates that conceal the mounting screws have been carefully removed with no creasing so can be reused. These are 16 ohm AC impedance units which measure as 4 ohm DC resistance which while unusual appears typical for this design. Both units can be heard working in the video which is in two parts, in each case only the pictured speaker is in use-the high frequency response can be heard changing on each line of the verse to demonstrate the three low/medium/high settings on the crossovers. These are pretty scarce on this side of the Atlantic and are sold as pictured and demonstrated with no returns. International sales will be via the Global Shipping Programme without exception. Safely packed, we do include a stiff cardboard insert, the insert and ad wrapped with saran wrap and a Please Do Not Bend sticker on the envelope to help preserve the integrity of the ad.

Letting go of these rare JBL tweeters/transducers. In good condition for their age and all measure 6.1-6.5 ohms (photos). Missing one connector on the labeled one. Missing labels on the others. Did not play/test but can and will post video if needed for buyer. Confident on playability on readings. Also confident other two are the same based on the round sticker residue. Unable to confirm between the 075 and 077 as I have a 075 w/ the wedge vs. bullet but most history I have found have the wedge on the 077. Advice/input always appreciated. Along with the missing connector, missing wedge cover on one and ground cap on one. The screw caps are wax with a neat JBL imprint in them (photo). Kind of fragile and one fell out while handling. Seems to be in there but not a promise they will all make it. I am a super careful packer and fast shipper. General Railway Signal Company is out of Rochester, NY. A pair of original wooden fretwork grills from a pair of JBL/James B. Lansing Lancer 77 speakers, circa 1967-1972. The mitred frames are sound with minimal marking (everything of note has been photographed), while the fretwork is pretty much immaculate which is remarkable given their age. Exact dimensions are 560mm x 320mm (22 x 12 5/8), with a depth including mounting batten of 25mm (1). Mounting is via two central holes on the batten that fits on split steel posts on the speaker baffle, velcro could be used. The rear grille cloth is taut, with no tears. These really are very rare, the JBL catalogues of the time that I can find describe wooden fretwork options on the larger Lancer 99, but not the 77. I can find no other examples for sale on or off speakers available anywhere. They will be very carefully packed for shipping, international sales will be via the global shipping programme, with no exceptions. Other components from the Lancers will be listed soon.
