What I have here is a slightly used iFIZen Air Dac. Used to drive my HD660s headphones. Enjoyed the the extra bass this provided and really made me appreciate a lot of my headphones in a different way. Over time I’ve collected many amp/dacs and can say this one did impress me the most with how well they elevated the sound signature of headphones I felt were not doing it for me. After using this, I realize how important a good amp/dac can benefit you. Reason for selling is that I have so much audio gear and I never use them. I want this device to make it to someone who could use it and enjoy it for what it is. I also just sold the zen signature set and can compare the two. The Zen air dac did better for my headphones than the signatures did. For the less than a quarter of the price. Yes, the signature combo was louder. But that’s not the only thing I was looking for. The Zen Air will make you realize that expensive gear isn’t always better! What you will get is all original cables, packaging, literature and device! Selling my iFi Zen DAC Signature V2. Works great. It uses a Ti/Burr-Brown chip, definitely sounds noticeably different from AKM/ESS designs. Very good tonality. PLEASE NOTE: this unit does NOT come with a power supply. (Basically, I am keeping the included power supply for use elsewhere.) However, the stock power supply is identical to the iPower 2 product that iFi sells retail. Pick one of those up for $50, or an iPower X for $100. (I tried both of them, and yeah the iPower X is better but not 2x better) You’re still saving a lot of money even after buying the PSU separately. Again: what you see in the pictures is what you get, no power supply included. But you can use any 5V power supply, even fancy ones! Unit is running the 7.2 “Cookies and Cream” firmware. This firmware does NOT have the GTO filter enabled.

It has both 6.3mm single ended and 4.4mm balanced headphone jacks on the front. It also has RCA and 4.4mm balanced pre outs on the back for hooking up to passive speakers or a different amplifier.
