Anyway we have power up tested and all seems to be working fine and unit is in a used condition with a cracked plastic screen as in pics but doesnt effect the use at all. Vintage Fostex G16S Multitrack tape recorder /reproducer only used it once to dub some old tapes and it’s not badly worn at all. Has Dolby c Any tape machine of this age will need a service but it worked fine when last used about 10 years ago. Has been sat in the corner of a professional studio basement for that whole time untouched. Has very little headwear. Tested for playback. Not tested every single channel.
