Hello, I have for sale a very nice clean pair of Bose 901 Series 2 speakers and equalizer. Both Speakers and equalizer have been tested and working. They sound beautiful and have amazing range. Speaker wires and cables will be included Nice rich Mahogany wood Each speaker weighs 36 lbs. Measurements are as follows: 20.5” long,12.5” tall,12.5” wide (measured at widest point in middle of speaker) There are only two minor issues that don’t effect sound quality. On the back side at the top right of the left speaker, there is a small 1.5” scuff on the fabric from being against the wall. Luckily it is on the backside of the speaker so you’ll never see it when displayed. The other issue is the clear set of bumpers/protective pads could be replaced ( still life left) and should only run you $5-$6 for a set. Speakers will be wrapped in plenty of bubble wrap, then surrounded by packing peanuts to prevent any damage happening during shipment. Shipping includes insurance

This unit is working, contacts cleaned, all switches etc... both channels nice and clean, perfect for series I or II, I just listened to an hour plus of Frank Sinatra at The Sands, The Beatles Help! and more, and it sounded just great. I am a 901 owner myself (Series I and Series VI ver 2) and ran it on my own system. I got it as a back up and if I were to keep it I would have the caps redone just because of the age, but it is working right now. I opened it up and photographed the inside for anyone who would wish to be able to see that. This is listed as parts / not working because I cannot guarantee it and it is sold as is. These are not so often seen. I can tell you those Deer Creek replacements simply dont cut it so if you have 901s this is what you need to make them sing. DHS speaker on ebay services these and for a small amount they end up as good as new if not better. Cabinet I feel is better than typical w/ some corner damage / dings /chips as seen in the pics - not too much but just so you know. Wire at cord frayed so I have put a nice new aftermarket plug on there and used it this way to perfectly test the unit. Please see the pics. Ask questions please or ask for before pics before buying. Please read - the plug is a temporary replace - I did that to be able to confirm function. It will need a plug if you hate my ugly replace job which was again just done to verify operational status. I have pictures showing this, and it was explained in the ad, yet someone initiated return stating never told or shown.... good grief..... people can lie with impunity on this site but as a seller you have zero recourse. This is perhaps for that more particular individual, its about as nice as youll find, perfect for the original series and series II, and it has been rebuilt as seen by DHS speaker with audio upgrade, please see the pics as they tell the story, so many upgraded capacitors, sonicap etc … far better than the original, which by the way lasted over 40 years before being serviced, so this is now better than ever for decades to come! Im downsizing so I cant keep it all. Pics show new / better capacitors as you can see, some additional parts in the amp section to enhance the curve to where it belongs, shielding etc ... this is better than when it was new in terms of performance because they used better parts at DHS and it sounds absolutely fantastic). Cabinet is nice w/ minimal handling evidence - it is more of a traditional walnut color - the pics w/ flash color it some. This is a nice one.Very careful packing for safe delivery!

Super rad vintage Bose 901 Series ii active equalizer! Made in USA.wrapped in vinyl veneered particleboard. Powers up and seen working when purchased 6 months ago. Unable to test myself so selling as is. Serial number: 106238

Bose 901 Active Equalizer Series II. Tape Recorder And Amplifier Connections. It appears to have some sort of water damage, noticed some oxidation on the terminals. The wood is also not in the best of shape. Corners and edges are damaged and missing. A good project for somebody. The switches and knob operate fine. Plugged it in and the red light flickers. A tear down with a good cleaning might have this baby running like a top. Selling as is. Parts or project to restore. Have a look at the photos for general overall condition.
