AUDIO-TECHNICA OC9ML/II Moving Coil Cartridge in Original Box, Used. I have a high-end audio set-up and am selling off some of my components and cartridges - only to fund some more purchases! Here’s my superb Audio-Technica OC9ML/II moving-coil cartridge,complete with original box, A-T performance measurement chart and copy Instruction/Spec Sheet. The perspex box has a crack but is fully intact. The OC9ML/II is a sought-after classic cartridge and is coveted by audiophiles as a top-performing ‘keeper’. Current incarnations of this top-of-the-range A-T model cost £500-£600 new and this is a competitive used auction offer. It’s only been used on my Roksan Xerxes 20 Plus turntable -it’s a wonderful performer as you’d expect on a good turntable with A-T’s excellent Born-mounted Micro-Line stylus. Sweet treble, full-range wide soundstage and great trackability are the hallmarks of this highly-reviewed cartridge. I set it tracking at approx. 1.9 grams into my Roksan Caspian VSC phono stage for a year or so of moderate usage – it’s been greatly enjoyed and matches anything I’ve used on the Roksan, upon which I’ve used several other A-T, Denon and Goldring MC and MM cartridges over recent years. The stylus should have life left in it whilst it will need re-tipping at some stage. Be aware it is a very fine Micro-Line stylus assembly so care is required in set-up and use! If I didn’t have alternative A-T MC and other great cartridges for my turntable, I would have sought to investigate re-tipping specialists to prolong my enjoyment of this beauty. Audio-Technica AT-OC9 MC Cartridge Mint Condition Boxed this is being sold as used because I’m not 100% sure if it hasn’t been used but it is in very good condition it does come with all the original instructions and other papers . The needle looks to be in very good condition the picture might not look the best as it is hard to picture please see photos as they are part of the description .This does also come with the screws and screwdriver for attachment . This series employs a prismatic nude diamond needle realizing robust performance and high speed transmission . The armature is designed in the shape of a reverse V (the AT-OC9 is a standard V) and ceramic type adhesive is used to join it to the cantilever giving additional stability to the trace of the needle vie the vertical stabilizer.
