[Input/output terminal]When used as a standalone preamplifier or power amplifier, a major feature is that it has XLR input/output terminals, allowing it to be used as a full-fledged separate amplifier.You can also choose an AD board or DAC board as an option, so you wont feel like youre lacking in input/output terminals.Y lug and banana can be used for SP terminal. ?size?Although it is large for a pre-main, it is within an acceptable range.If the amplifier becomes larger than this, the size of the rack will become a concern. [Overview]This is a review after the first year of purchase.The CD player used is Esoteric K-03X.It is high resolution, thick, and has a flat balance with little coloring.The speakers are B&W 804D3, which have matured over the four years since purchase.It has the ability to faithfully reproduce the signal sent from the amplifier.When I purchased the E-650, I also listened to the E-480 and was attracted to its lively sound, but I decided to purchase it because I thought that this unit was suitable for playing the 804D3 deeply.The powerful, deep low range is perfect for playing small and medium-sized SPs in terms of balance. When you play Jazz, the drum beats are realistically reproduced, giving you a pleasant sense of crispness and dynamism.The expressions of the vocals are very detailed, and previously Accuphases sound was said to be inorganic, but the E-650 conveys emotion directly.I think that the ability to faithfully reproduce the sound of software without unnecessary resonance in the mid-high range is a first-class product.In addition, the sound does not become thin even at low volumes, and the supple and dynamic sound does not make you feel tired even when listening to it for a long time. I used the C-280V & P-500L about 30 years ago, and I think the E-650 maximizes the benefits of being an integrated amplifier, and in some ways exceeds the separate amplifiers of the time.It has been 15 years since I replaced my E-408, and I have witnessed the evolution of Accuphase.
